EMV® Terminal Type Approval Bulletin No. 259 First Edition December 2022 EMVCo Terminal Approval – Contactless Product: Cross Testing of C-3 products Applicability This Bulletin applies to:  All Kernel C3 products Related Documents  SDK standardization Guide v1.6 Effective Date  Immediately Description This is a reminder that Cross Testing of C-3 products using VISA’s cross testing version 2.0 is mandatory Effective Immediately. Cross testing version 1.0 is no longer supported by VISA for both VCPS and C-3 products. Vendors can either automate cross testing using VCAS interface or conduct manual cross testing. Note that manual cross testing can be error prone and time consuming. Vendors are highly encouraged to implement VCAS interface so cross testing can be completed in less time and with close to 100% accuracy. Those laboratories that have received VCARS v2.0 accreditation are eligible to Cross Test C-3 products using VISA’s cross testing version 2.0 Vendors will need the following materials in order to implement VCAS interface.
