Specification Update Bulletin No. 55 First Edition February 2007 Terminal Velocity Checking and CCD Allow personalisation of LCOL and UCOL on CCD cards. This Bulletin has effect 1 May 2007. Products will be tested against the requirements of this bulletin commencing 1 May 2007.

Description

The restriction against personalisation of the EMV data elements Lower Consecutive Offline Limit (LCOL) and Upper Consecutive Offline Limit (UCOL) is removed from CCD. Specification Change Notice Please make the following changes to EMV Integrated Circuit Card Specifications for Payment Systems Version 4.1 Book 3, Part V: Delete CCD section 10.6.3 (Velocity Checking).
