General Bulletin No. 35 First Edition June 2008 Consolidated EMV™ Specification This General Bulletin announces the availability of the EMV Integrated Circuit Card Specifications of Payment Systems, version 4.2. A new version of the EMV™ Integrated Circuit Card Specifications for Payment Systems, version 4.2, is now available for downloading in the Specifications Section of the EMVCo website, www.emvco.com. EMV 4.2 incorporates all EMV 4.1 related Application Notes and Specification Update Bulletins posted to the EMVCo website up to and including June 2008. EMV 4.2 is essentially an editorial update of EMV 4.1 and has no impact on devices already tested and approved to EMV 4.1. Changes and additions introduced to EMV 4.1 through the bulletin process – now included in EMV 4.2 - have already been addressed by the Type Approval process. © 1994-2008 EMVCo, LLC (“EMVCo”).
