February 2018 The EMVCo Level 1 Working Group has updated the specifications for the design, construction, use and verification of EMV<sup>®</sup> Contactless Level 1 Test Equipment, including associated Gerber files. The latest version, v3.0, is applicable to the EMV<sup>®</sup> Level 1 Specifications for Payment Systems: EMV Contactless Interface Specification: Version 3.0 and subsequent versions. The EMV<sup>®</sup> Contactless Level 1 Test Equipment consists of an EMV<sup>®</sup> Test PCD (Proximity Coupling Device), an EMV<sup>®</sup> Test PICC (Proximity Integrated Circuit Card) and an EMV<sup>®</sup> CMR (Common Mode Rejection). The PICC Manual, PCD Manual, CMR Manual, and Gerber files are available upon licensing from EMVCo. To obtain a Test Equipment Specifications License Agreement (TESLA), please submit a request to emvcolegal@emvco.com copying terminal_approval@emvco.com. EMVCo offers a license for internal use of the EMV<sup>®</sup> Test Equipment, as well as a license for use of the EMV<sup>®</sup> Test Equipment commercially. Therefore, in your request for a license agreement, please include a statement of whether your organization intends to distribute, sell, offer for sale, lease, loan, rent or otherwise make available to a third party any of the EMV<sup>®</sup> Test Equipment, and the appropriate agreement will be provided to you accordingly.
