Specification Bulletin No. 142 2nd Edition February 2016 User Interaction Parameters for Installation of Contactless Mobile Payment Applications This Specification Bulletin corrects the tag values for the User Interaction Parameters for installation of Contactless Mobile Payment Applications as defined in GlobalPlatform Amendment C. Note: the 2nd edition places tag '53' (Image Encoding Format) under the hierarchy of tag '67', to align with GlobalPlatform Card Contactless Services Amendment C v1.2 (minor update).

Effective Date

This bulletin is effective immediately.

The EMVCo Contactless Mobile Payment – Application Activation User Interface – Version 1.0 – December 2010 lists the User Interaction Parameters to be used for the installation of a CMP application in Table A.3. The tag values do not align with those in GlobalPlatform Amendment C for installation. This bulletin describes the correct values which should be used below.
