Specification Bulletin No. 139 First Edition March 2014 Clarification on Data Content for DGIs ‘3Fxx’ This Specification Bulletin clarifies that the data content for DGIs ‘3Fxx’ must include tag, length, and value of the associated template ‘BFxx’.

In CPA v1 plus bulletins, section 21.2.9, table 21-26 summarises the DGIs for internal application data, including DGIs ‘3Fxx’ and the associated templates ‘BFxx’. This draft specification bulletin clarifies that the data content for DGI ‘3Fxx’ must include the template tag, template length, and template value. Specification Change In the CPA Specification, section 21.2.9, replace the sentence after Table 21-27 with the following: The content of DGIs '3F30' through '3F41' shall consist of the corresponding 'BFxx' template tag and length followed by one or more of the TLV-coded primitive tags belonging to that template. For example, DGI '3F35' is personalized as 'BF 35 09 DF 01 01 00 DF 11 02 03 05'.
