Dear, EMVCo announces the availability of the Book C-8 Test Package Release version 1.1d for Type Approval. This test package shall be used for all Book C-8 Type Approvals, until further notice. Please contact your Contactless Product recognised Laboratories for their Contactless Kernel C-8 Testing readiness. Overview of changes Here are the main changes related to the current Test Package Release. - Public documents: no impact. - Laboratory documents: o [PerfTests]: fixed the amount in the test 2PB.001.00. - Test Tool files: EMVCo provided the following corrections to the Tool Vendors: o Fixed a test coverage error when the reader postpones the parsing of the records until after the Generate AC. Impacted tests: 4M25-9226 || 01 and 04 4M25-9227 || 01 and 04 o Fixed a test coverage error when the reader postpones the decryption of the records until after parsing the unencrypted records. Zip file C8 ReaderConfs, version 250910 This archive contains the Readerconfs.xmd file containing all the test configurations the Product Provider shall implement for the C-8 Kernel Type Approval. This file is an XML format file. The extension ‘.xmd’ was used to ease the communication with the Test Tool Vendors. This file can be managed as any XML file, and it can be opened with a web browser, a text editor, or an XML editor.
