EMV^® Specification Bulletin No. 235 First Edition March 2020 Contactless – EMD Immunity for Type A EoS This Specification Bulletin introduces a Type A EMD immunity requirement for PCD following the PICC EoS.

Proposed Specification Changes In section 4.9.2, add a new requirement to Requirements 4.30 as follows: Requirements 4.30: PCD EMD Handling PCD […] 4.9.2.2 The PCD shall ignore any PICC generated EMD that occurs from the end of the EoS of a Type A PICC response until the start of the lower level within the SoF of the next command transmitted by the PCD.
