Description
In December 2020, the EMVCo Level 3 Testing Group (L3TG) announced the release of an updated version of the EMV<sup>®</sup> Terminal L3 Pseudo Function Functions, Version 1.5. Corresponding with that announcement, was notification that the L3 Card Simulator qualification testing service in accordance with this latest release of the document would be activated in February 2021. As a result of some additional preparation activities required to fully activate the service, this bulletin announces a three-month delay in EMVCo’s readiness to perform qualification testing services in accordance with EMV Level 3 (L3) Testing Framework - Pseudo-function Definitions for Test Card Images – Version 1.5. The target date for readiness has now been revised to May 2021.
