Effective Date

• Immediate EMVCo follows a yearly release process for the updates to testing associated with the specification or specification updates as per following processes and timeframes:
• Terminal Type Approval bulletins identifying Test Plan changes will typically be shared with Test Tool vendors by June and published on the public EMVCo website by the end of October as a draft version. Final versions are released at the new Terminal Type Approval Test Plan activation date. Testing readiness date for the updated Test Plans will be January 1st of the following year unless EMVCo announces otherwise.
