The activation date of this new process is November 17, 2025. Refer to the Administrative Process v1.0 available on the EMVCo website for detailed information regarding the process. Please check EMVCo web site for the list of recognised laboratories (https://www.emvco.com/serviceproviders/?type=card_and_mobile, select “Fingerprint Sensor” in the Laboratories and/or test Tool Providers menus) EMVCo recommends that product providers also reach out to the relevant Payment Systems for details on their specific and additional requirements for fingerprint sensors.
