Description
For several years, EMVCo's fees have remained flat while EMVCo continued to absorb various cost increases, due to the current economic situation. To ensure EMVCo can continue providing effective services, a new fee structure will come into effect. This change will help EMVCo maintain the current standard of service provided to you. The EMV Card Type Approval fee structure outlined below will be applicable for all Approval Requests for CCD and CPA products submitted to EMVCo from January 1, 2025, onwards. New Card Request Approval Fees Fee Amount Product Provider fees Audit Report for Additional CPA Functions Owner Specification $6900 Audit Report for Owner Specification $6900 Audit report for Non-CCD Components test cases $6900 Request for Approval $6300 Reduced Request for Approval $860 Change Request $6300 Request for Renewal $6300 Re issuance of a Letter of approval $860 ICS Replacement $860 Laboratory fees Incorrect ICS $860 Incomplete/inconsistent test report $860 Refer to the CCD and CPA administrative process for details on the definition of the fees
The above fee table assumes no deductions will be made on payments to EMVCo for tax withholdings, bank fees, or other amounts (“Deductions”). If any Deductions are to be made, then the fee payable will be increased by such amount as necessary to ensure that the amounts that EMVCo actually receives, excluding taxes that EMVCo is required to collect, reflects the amounts in the above table. In such case, written notice of the revised fee amount and Deductions must be given to EMVCo at least thirty (30) days before the date the payment is due, so that EMVCo can issue a revised invoice reflecting the fee and Deductions. The issuance of a revised invoice will not change the original due date for payment.
